It is almost time for our annual GSCS Pearls, Pumps and Books, where women leaders from around the community come and read to our elementary students to promote literacy. Yesterday, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting at Fairmont Community Center for the new book vending machine. We are so thankful that so many people turned out to support this continued commitment to improving literacy in Griffin-Spalding! This was a great collaboration between the city, county, chamber, school system, Partners In Education and many other organizations.

GSCS families, please give us your input before October 31.

As this is National School Bus Safety Week, GSCS would like to remind students, parents and drivers to use caution on dark mornings before school. Please see the image with safety tips.
